Finding the blues in a blacked out sky was presented as my MFA Thesis show in 2022. We start off with the narrative of how when dealing with depression, there is a blurred type of effect going around you. You feel a mixture of scatter and the feeling of being in a haze. You navigate through this haze in the everyday and put on a brave face, but feel like a ghost of your old self. You feel like you're either blending in or sticking out, which causes you to draw further back into it all. The blue is the hope going forward and trying to break free from depression, but the healing can be the hardest part.
